Ben Gran is a freelance writer, editor and “wordsmith” with 8 years of professional experience. He is an Elance Premier Provider and is also the Grand Prize winner of the Elance “New Way to Work” contest.

Ben’s clients include corporate trainers, executive coaches, consultants, professional speakers, public policy advocacy groups, and others.

Ben’s past experience includes 2 years as speechwriter and public affairs specialist for Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack. Other experience includes three years at a Fortune 500 financial services company as a technical writer and editor, writing public relations and marketing communications at an advertising agency, a college internship at the Pentagon writing speeches for the U.S. Secretary of the Navy, and a popular monthly newspaper column as a “foreign correspondent” while living in Japan.

Ben serves his clients with meticulous attention to detail and has a proven track record of delivering high-impact writing that is clear, concise, and compelling. In addition to his creative skills, Ben employs a rigorous, disciplined thought process.
